Is the standard Picopresso 18g basket a bit too much for you, what about a 12g model? Closer to a single-shot basket, this smaller version is a good alternative for those looking to reduce their caffeine intake.
NOTICE: This 12g basket is only compatible with the Picopresso.

The 12g basket is perfect for my morning single shot—no more wasting coffee or fiddling with a half-filled 18g. The smaller size keeps the pressure consistent and the puck comes out clean every time.
I was hesitant to switch from the 18g, but this 12g basket nails the smaller dose without losing any richness. It fits the same portafilter perfectly, and my morning single shot tastes just as balanced as the double.
Brewing a single shot is finally practical—the 12g capacity fits my morning routine perfectly, and the smaller dose means less puck prep fiddling. It swapped into my setup without any fuss and pulls a clean, balanced shot every time.
